When the rest of us sleep, many people in the cemetery work shift from (11 am-7pm) and have to deal with sleeping during the day. Man is not a nocturnal creature (unless you are in college), and if you work all night, learn to adjust to sleep during the day, which can be very difficult.
Light and noise are the most important issues a sleeping person has to tackle. Some people can handle noise with earplugs, but light can be a big problem to solve.
Many people will try everything to eliminate light from space so that the natural sleep process can take over. It can be extreme to hide under blankets, pull blinds or cover the windows with dark curtains, but if it helps you sleep what you need, it's worth it to get worse.
However, there is a much simpler solution called sleep mask. Having an eye mask or pillow that covers your eyes allows your body to relax and sleep much faster than the other temporary solutions mentioned above. Most people will avoid this solution because they cannot see themselves using anything on their face.
This may be due to acting silly, a matter of comfort, so choosing the right sleeping mask is essential to have a good "sleep day".
Here are three things to consider:
1. The mask should be opaque enough to turn off all light around the eyes. Some fit the shape more and can do a good job of removing all led light therapy sources.
2. It should also be made of a soft material that feels comfortable on the face. Some masks are made of satin, silk for maximum softness. Others may be made of polyester blends that may be cheaper but not as comfortable.
3. The main strap must be fully adjustable and as comfortable as the front piece. Being able to tie the strap instead of an elastic band may be preferable for some users.
