Natural aging treatment with LED light
Anti-aging light therapy is something that has just begun to be studied by science. It's fun to think that light is used as an anti-aging technique, especially since one of the worst things for the skin is overexposure to direct sunlight. But as in all things, moderation is key. As time goes on, science and research are increasingly showing that light is one of the most beneficial things for the human body. It has long been known that light is an integral part of the production of vitamin D in the body, and the presence of light triggers the release of positive hormones in the body.
Many studies have shown that different types of light have different and very specific positive effects on the body. Eg. LED light therapy is now being thoroughly investigated as a method to stimulate damaged cells in the healing process. Red light as well as near infrared light is a wavelength of light that can penetrate the initial layers of the skin and penetrate the deeper tissue below. This light spectrum helps to stimulate the cell to generate energy in the form of ATP and also by stimulating the production of new DNA.
Other studies are also conducted on the body's ability to metabolize direct sunlight into the body for energy. That's really interesting information. The body seems to find all the different light spectra useful and can treat them accordingly to achieve a positive effect. So let's return to anti-aging light therapy.
In my studies of the properties of light and its effects on the body, light therapy against aging has appeared again and again. It is a process that uses led face mask light to stimulate the health and vitality of cells. Studies have shown that LED light therapy can be very beneficial in helping damaged cells in their repair process. They stimulate growth and energy production to help the cell recover. Since aging can be described as a form of harm, some sites claim that LED light therapy can reverse the aging signs and reduce wrinkles. From what I can deduce, this is not the case. However, anti-aging light treatment seems to keep healthy skin young longer. But before anyone goes out and buys an expensive anti-aging light device, it must be remembered that the same effects on the skin can be achieved by simply lying in direct sunlight for a short period of time each day.
Direct sunlight encompasses all wavelengths in the light spectrum, and therefore everything a person can get from LED light therapy can technically be achieved by exposure to direct sunlight. However, keep in mind that LED light therapy and anti-aging light therapy do not have the other spectrum that causes sunburn and can cause skin cancer. Therefore, most people prefer to use LED in the comfort of their own home. LEDs can also concentrate the light energy they emit, reducing the required usage time. Most people do not have time to spend 2 hours in direct sunlight. However, they have time to apply an LED to the surface of their skin while watching an hour on their favorite TV show.
The human body is mainly water. The skin is generally not considered a translucent substance, but for much of the light spectrum it really is. Just as light can penetrate the ocean's surface, part of the spectrum can also penetrate the skin's surface. Red and near infrared light can penetrate the skin, up to 6 inches, according to some reports. However, once the LED light penetrates the skin, it spreads very quickly. Depending on the type of material you find (bones, muscles, fat) and the specific wavelength of light used, it will spread faster. For luck with anti-aging light treatment, the wavelength does not need to penetrate much to find damaged tissue. But getting the right wavelength and intensity is still important. Normal LEDs do the job, but due to the financial nature of the medical LEDs, it is generally safer to go with one specifically designed for use with the human body. Good healing for everyone!
